41st California International Antiquarian Book Fair

From February 15th through 17th, 2008, over 200 members of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America (ABAA.org) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB.org)* will exhibit books at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Five centuries of printing and manuscripts, some of which predate Gutenberg, will be available for purchase. Exhibitors will come from as far away as Australia and Argentina; others from Denmark and Spain. We will have expert American dealers from throughout the United States, and we are proud to have 25 exhibitors from our own Southern California region.

Our exhibitors will offer books on the history of travel & exploration (including maps), early science and medicine, technology & manufacture, law and commerce, literature and the arts. There will be first editions of 20th century literature, complete with dust jackets and superb illustrated books in fine condition. There will be books with remarkable typography and books with original engravings and prints by renowned masters like Rembrandt, Picasso, and Miró. At our book fair, one can browse and purchase a 17th century Shakespeare folio, a 20th century Jack Kerouac novel, and even ephemera from the film industry.
